A couple great albums assisted by our Texas folder folk

Post by Janice Brooks »

James Hand "Evil Things" Ricky Davis has a great lead in to the first track. Unfortunently the artest was not interested in this albums release but the label (Cold Stream) followed thru .
Sussanne Van Tassle the heart i wear. pure swing and a nice Waltz version of "You Don't
Know Me" featuring Marty Muse.

I did a "Sons of Hermann" gig with James Hand. Man, that dude is a trip ! I was staying with Chris Wall(the Cold Spring guy and truly great songwriter) in Austin and he gave me a copy of his disk. Ricky plays his butt off !
