I'm selling my Gibson BR-9 (six string lap) to help pay off my S10 Pedalmaster. The Gibson sounds wonderful and plays great. Currently strung and tuned C6. One of the tuning pegs has started to disintegrate, the others are ok, but those pegs tend to break over time. The tuners themselves work fine and hold pitch.
I am asking $325 plus shipping. send offers to marcstonenola@yahoo.com |

No pics yet. Sorry. Working on that. Here's a (not brief enough) description:
it's cream with a p-90. it has a fair amount of
checking in the finish but no cracks in the wood. a few
scuffs and dings, definitely played. i would say 7.5
cosmetically. one tuning peg has chipped and the
others will go soon, as happens with those old cheap
pegs. The tuning machines themselves are fine, a
little tight but they tune up and hold pitch (not
indefinitely, of course, but gigably so). if you want
replacements i think you can get the right ones
therough guit cntr, or a catalog. replaced what look
like the same size tuners on my gib.
skylark with something from a catalog they had at gc.
about $60 for the tuners, correct size, easy
install thru orig screw holes. it looks like they will
fit well on the br-9. but haven't tried.
all orig., including case, except looks like the jack
plate was replaced.
i have some other folks waiting for pics too. thanks for being patient, hopefully hopefully i'll have something to send around by monday |
