Old unknown maker pedal steel. Had, at one time, some Stringmaster parts (which have been pillaged), and some people have said that it looks like something Chuck Wright may have made. It has two eight string necks and six pedals. It is mahogany (solid) with a steel surrounding frame. It weighs a ton. I will send photos to interested parties. If anyone is feeling charitable, I'd love to post a few pictures here. It is kind of a mystery, the machined parts are very high quality, someone spent a lot of time on it. Any info about it would be greatly appreciated.
No reasonable offer refused, just make it worth my while to pack it up and take it to FedEx (ground of course). |

| It looks like an old Wright Custom that someone started converting from cables to rods. At least there is a great similarity to the one I owned in the late Sixties that was built in the early Sixties or earlier. |

| If this were a Wright Custom (and I think it's not) It would be like a later one not an early Wright model-Early Wrights had wood front aprons with metal endplates not metal frames-It does have some appearance of the later Wright which were cable operated in all around metal frames like the Fenders-So I agree that it was likely converted from cables-Possibly a Carvin? Cartwright what's the best offer you've gotten if any? |
