| I bought the Little Buddy advertised a week or so ago. It is now for sale, with the following information added; it is NOT an Emmons, I have no idea who the maker is though it does have a sticker on the front that says "Little Buddy" on the front. The guitar has a good changer and peghead, and quite a few useable parts; It is not useable as a pedal steel at this point though a friend who builds guitars says it could be made to work. The case would be worth almost the asking price by itself. I paid $100, and I'd like to get my $$ back out of it. I can likely ship it for $25 Fedex Ground in the CONUS. | "Little Buddy" was made by the Late Great Freeman Cougar from Michigan...I bought one in the early seventies kept it for less than a week and took it back to Freeman,,It was absolute JUNK!!!!!!! |

Good news, Keith. If Daniel purchased it, I suspect he had a student that would be able to use it. The more people we can get interested in our instrument, the better. If the guitar can be made playable, $100 is a pretty small investment to get someone started on steel guitar...
...even if it is "JUNK"!

It shouldn't be hard to make it useable for someone who knows the mechanics of it. The guitar actually sounded nice.

I like that idea. Sell a student an inexpensive decent sounding steel. Get them hooked and then sell them a pro-grade model with a trade-in on the inexpensive steel. Then sell the inexpensive steel to another prospective student. It's a plan!
