WOW! That's a magnificent Dekley. Are the chromed knee levers from the factory?

Now I am tempted to rob from Peter to pay Paul

Ray, the levers did not come from the factory chromed. The original owner had them chromed.

I'm tempted to rob Peter, Paul and Mary to pay Tommy. Absolutely Stunning!

I bought a Dekley D-10 few months back and rebuilt it and I would be embarrassed to put it next to that one.

Tommy,
What are those necks made out of, Pakkawood or metal? It's a stunning looking steel! Great job!

Tommy, you do outstanding work. Bravo. I wouldn't hesitate to send you a guitar for rework in a minute. Its so nice to see these older guitars restored. They usually sound great.

The Emmons and Dekley steel, i have seen in the last two steels you posted ,looked amazing, and i have never in my life seen any steels that looked so polished as these.

Are you in the restoring business? And if not you should be! Just marvelouus, and beyond belief! You made my day!

What a deal. That guitar is breathtaking. Like my lefty model, but flawless.
Someone will get a great deal. If I were only right handed it would be gone.

I've been telling people about Tommy's work since 1988 when he rebuilt my old Emmons. I dropped off a beat up D-10 and when I went to pick it up I didn't recognize it! Every metal part, including the entire undercarriage was highly polished. New flocking, worn parts replaced, heavy duty springs, case-hardened screws. The guitar looked much better than it did when I bought it new. It sparkled like a diamond. Tommy had completely disassembled the guitar, every part, including the changer parts, cleaned and polished every metal part to a mirror finish. I could see my reflection in the undercarriage! I can't imagine how many hours of hand labor he puts into his restorations.
