I understand this is about a 5600.00 guitar, And it is practically new. So it is certainly worth that price.

I'm sorry that I took for granted everyone knew all features of the new MSA Millenium. All the details are on their website.

Black with 9 pedals and 5 knee levers.Universal Tuning..

Has instantly swappable pickups. Split tuners on all 12 strings, adjustable lowering springs, weighs 30 LBS all set up out of the case.
Includes padded cover and leg bag both. Has excellent road case with recessed wheels for easy toting. Recessed latches.

This is a very high quality, precision engineered Steel Guitar. It plays great, smooth, in tune and a great sound. The finest guitar I ever owned.

But I am 83 years old and have had some severe arthritis back problems for quite a while and this week was worse than usual and now know that I will finally have to cut back and pass this one on to someone who can enjoy it for years to come.

Complete pictures are on the MSA Website. But I do have a couple I can email....al

No doubt this is a great deal on a great steel.
I have had my mits on 3 of these baby's and they can not be overrated with words.

Al, sorry to hear the fingers aren't cooperating lately. At least your mind is still sharp as a tack from what I can tell.
Good luck my friend.

John-It is pretty standard E9/B6 setup, Emmons setup on the E to F's and E's to Eb on left knee.

Boowah on the 4th pedal.- On the 8P is the usual 4th pedal G#'s to A# (nice to have) and the 9thP is lowering the G#'s 6th and 10 string to G.

The right Right Knee gives lowered 8 string to D and 2nd string D# to D.

But it is soooo easy to change a copedant or pedal tuning . I have 37 bellcranks on it, moveable of course.

Black Carbon Twill is tha name of the color. It is beautiful and just sparkles.
Thanks for inquiring.....al

David-Thanks for the boost, and the kind words. I can still play pretty for the people. Ballads, but no hot stuff.

Jerry-Old friend, thanks for the good words, coming from a MHOF member and with your background in Country Music with Buck Owens, I appreciate it.
If you are ever in the Grand rapids area, bring that Mullen down and we'll jam a little.Say hi to Sally........al

I have sat behind this guitar and someone is going to get a great horn. Not only that, it has been played by a living legend, Mr. Al Marcus.
Forget whatever you were thinking about buying and jump on this Millenium.
Maybe Al will leave some of those great old licks in there too. Don't let it hang around too long or I might be tempted...

If you buy this one, Bud, you'll need to sell something to make some room for it.....

Al,

I´m surprised that the copedant is E9/B6....is there any reason why? I thought you basically played the E9 E6 Universal.

One fine guitar. I play one that is almost its twin. Grey/black twill SU-12 8+5. My setup is Bb6/Eb9. Mine is 2 years old now. Never a problem. It gets played almost everyday.

Maybe after the TSGA Show, the air will be more clear.

Bump for Al

Ron-Thanks for the bump.

Jeremy-Thanks for your interest. In answer to your question-

I did have my complicated 37 pull E6-E9-E13 tuning on it. Jr. Knight set it up and did a great job on it. However---

It has the E9/B6 standard U12 tuning on with 29 pulls. Now as that is the most popular that most U12 players play. The first 3 pedals and left knee levers are standard E9 Emmons.

If any one wants to change it , it is easy to do.
I have the 8 extra rods and bell cranks that were on it.....thanks....al
