Plexiglass Fretboards

There was a guy that used to advertize in the old "Pedal Steel Guitar Magazine" that made:
Illuminated Plexiglass Fretboards . . .
I wish I could find a way to get in touch with him here. . .
There are a lot of other advertizers that I would think that I could find here somewhere . . .
What happened to them all?
