I did Tablature on Tom Morell's Rosetta
several months ago along with an MP3
which I recorded using an 8 string Resonator
tuned C6th E--C--A--G--E--C--A--G High/Low
If someone can post the tab I will gladly send it to them. This is a great old Bob Wills song.
My MP3 includes Backup with steel then just backup so you can play along when learned.

| Thanks for the tab on one of my favorite tunes. Isn't this tune one of Earl "Fatha" Hines's? I think Wills played it in part because he had a daughter with that name. I seem to recall a version where he sings a rather unintelligible version. |

Yes, Pete I heard the Bob Wills version
and like you I had a problem hearing it right. It could have been the recording was
very old, mid forties maybe?
Tom Morell's playing of it made a lot more sense to me. |

I agree, Roy. Did he play that on that 10 string E13 tuning?
I also have a very nice recording of that tune by Bobby Koefer, which I think is played on his E13 neck - hopefully, he put his version on his new CD, which is supposedly out soon. |

It is my understanding that Tom used his E13th for Rosetta. High to Low:
G#--F#--E--C#--B--G#--F#--E--D--E
More of us use C6th for the swing stuff and
that's why I modified the arrangement keeping
in mind that it allows the Lap Steeler even with 6 strings to learn the song also.
