Any tab available for Randy's version of this song?
I've stopped playing this song since I heard Randy's version on Steelradio. Randy's chord and harmony changes just blew me away.
Regards,
Nic

What! No takers? Of course, one would first have to work out the chordal arrangement.
Come on, guys!

Wade, thanks for the vote of confidence. Actually I got over my shock of hearing Randy doing this number. Instead, I'm continuing doing it my way. After all, that's what music is all about.
Let me know when you get the CD. I do have tab for some of the stuff, should you need it.
Regards,
Nic

I wonder if anyone has ever tabbed anything that Randy has recorded? The man, IMO, is fantastic. |

Charles,
Now you know why I did the post. Besisdes the fact that I do not a recording of this number, Randy's playing features a lot of harmonic content. Not knowimg his copedent also doesn't help a lot. It seems me me there are no takers for this task. Ah well, I just had to ask.

Nic

Nic,
I don't have Randy's version of "Blessed Assurance" but if you would like to try this left-handed Norwegian's version of this great gospel song, I would be happy to send you a copy. I also play chordal melody and my tab is written with all three string grips.

Erv,
Thanks for your offer. The strange thing is that I have been playing this song for some time now, and imagine my surprize when I heard Randy's version. There are some near identical passages, but Randy's way with 'bending' the melody made me re-appreciate the song. You may certainly e-mail me your version, if you don't mind.
Regards,
Nic
