National Resophonic sent me a pin several years ago. Back then, the pins were plain chromed copper with black enameled or inked writing. Now the pins have a blue background, but are still chromed copper. The pin part -- the part that makes the small shield a pin, is simply glued on. My National Shield fell when I snagged the pin on something.
They cost $4.50 and are available on the website. I am sure National Reso will sell un-pinned ones too, because they use the same shields on higher end guitars. |
