Steel on Mansion on the Hill
Finding the newly released tracks from Bruce Spriingsteen's Nebraska, I ran across this live performance, with the very welcome appearance of pedal steel in one of his songs.
I'm not familiar with the player, and am wondering if any of you are familiar with him, but he really captures the song, one I didn't think could be better than the original '82 recording.

Funny that you posted this Charlie, I was in Lubbock, your hometown when Nebraska came out, I loved it, very sparse and haunting, Bruce at his best. He has used lots of steel on his recordings over the years, Marty Rifkin, Nils, Marc Muller with great results, check out his record Western Stars. You would love it !
Regards, Craig
