Ah, that's a real shame. He was an artist in silver. Condolences to his family and friends.

Sad news. I have a set of his fingerpicks gifted to me by my sweet wife. Incredible piece of silversmith craftsmanship. RIP Ron, your work will live on.

I am so sorry to learn of Ron's passing. I have had the privilege of talking with him a few times when I would order picks from him. His craftsmanship with finger picks was second to none! He was a super nice and honest guy to do business with. May God speak a peace which passes all understanding to his family during this time of sorrow and loss.

Ron was a true craftsman and brought new ideas that worked to the tiny niche of fingerpicks. I preferred his picks to any other available choices.

FYI the Landis Studio website has a popup message saying that his long time partner will be continuing the business after some transition time, so thats some counterpoint to this sad news.
