Steve Stallings

Post by Lee Baucum »

Lee, from South Texas - Down On The Rio Grande

There are only two options as I see it.
Either I'm right, or there is a sinister conspiracy to conceal the fact that I'm right.

My condolences to Steve and his family, I can't fathom what he went through, he should rest in peace and hopefully his family is well!

RIP Doc. I first met Steve many years at the TSGA in the Carter room and we hung out there a lot over the years. As said above, he certainly fought the good fight. My condolences to his family.

I am a 20+ year member of the SGF today because I was first introduced to Steve’s Unofficial Martin Guitar Forum. His screen name was SteveE9C6 which piqued my curiosity and made me start my interest and journey in the world of steel guitar. He was a gentleman musician in every way and always a joy to interact with.

I’ve said it once, and I’ll say it again… all of our heroes are passing away.

Rest easy Steve. Thank you for your passion, faith and generosity.

I sincerely hope that if I am faced with the level of adversity that Steve has faced the last several years, I will find it in me to handle it with as much dignity and grace as he has. So very sorry to hear the battle for this life is over, but Steve fought the good fight. RIP Steve.

I didn't personally know Steve but followed his posts describing his Cancer battle.
From his posts I know he was a good man and friend to all.
My condolences to family and friends.
