Hey steelin' folks:

I've set a date for our next Los Angeles-area steel meetup -- Sunday, June 22nd -- hope we can get a good group together -- come on out and tell a friend!

Discussion topic: We'll be having another L A pedal steel jam on Saturday, June 28th at the VFW Burbank -- the previous two jams were completely awesome and I urge you to look into attending -- we are very lucky to have fantastic players: Jay Dee, Doug Livingston among them -- watching these guys play is not to be missed -- and many other great players-- also, looking for ideas about how to make the jams better, maybe include some live accompaniment or singing? Haven't done that, but looking for ideas.

Let's meet up and exchange ideas about how to promote and learn pedal steel!
