FoBro Robert Underkoffler was looking for tab on this one. I had never heard of Eddie Noack (1930-1978) before now; turns out he was best known for recording “Psycho,“ a C&W ballad about a serial killer. The tab may not be 100% accurate but is close enough to work with.

Which begs the question: who was the steeler?
K-Ark Records was headquartered in Nashville in 1968 when Eddie recorded “Sleeping Like A Baby (With A Bottle In My Mouth)” so he would have had his pick of any the legends of pedal steel that roamed the earth in Nashville back then. I didn’t recognize any signature in the intro/turnaround, though.

You rock, Frank. I'm gonna get at this tab later today. It's a very unique intro for sure, and I do wonder who played it. Thanks a ton.
