Very nice of course from the master. Curious what tuning he used here.

I would guess he’s playing C6 or C6/A7. One of the clues is that last maj7 chord at the end. He played that beautiful ending chord on other songs in C6 tuning. Just my guess, without having a lap steel in my hands and trying to play along with the video.
