Jimmy "C" Christensen has passed away.

some of you may have known Jimmy. he played with a band called Sawmill Creek years back, also was a steel player for Lari White and Michael Peterson and Shane Minor. rip my old friend.

Back in 1974-1976 I was at the Hank Thompson School of Country Music at Claremore Jr. Collage in Oklahoma. There was a young
steel player there, Jimmy Christensen. He played with one of the school country bands and I knew him but not well. We were the
two players at the school who were advanced enough to perform with a band. I am sorry to hear that he has passed.

I was fortunate to cross paths with Jimmy way back when he was playing around Wyoming quite a bit. Super good guy. I am sorry to hear of his passing. My condolences to his family, friends and loved ones.
