Thanks Craig! To say we're super excited to have the opportunity to present these players on the Thursday night schedule following Albert Talley and Mark Giles and their line-up would be an understatement, to say the least.

I'll be trying to sprinkle in some bios on the Thursday pickers, as time allows. Here's a bit more:

BIO - Ethan Shaw

“Brother” Ethan Shaw has been playing steel guitar for about 20 years. He currently fronts two Western Swing bands: Brother Shaw’s Texas Swing Revival and The Quilted Southerners, and a rock band, Chili Cold Blood, and is steel guitarist for a Honky Tonk band, The Hens. Continuing in the tradition of his teacher, the great Herb Remington, Ethan now teaches steel guitar to a growing number of students. In addition to in-person lessons, he has a Youtube channel, Brother Shaw’s Texas Swing Revival, with over a quarter-of-a-million views, which features steel guitar lessons and performances. Brother Shaw hosts a radio show “Raising the Bar” on SteelRadio, where he features great steel guitarists of the past and present. He was born in State College, PA and has lived in Austin since 1996.

Ted, I 'm not sure if you got a PM from me, seems like it never got sent, but wanted to tell you that I think my nephew Jake met you at a show recently, he lives in Austin as does my daughter, both are NJ natives, and Jake especially loves all the great music in Texas!. Keep up all the great work you are doing with steelradio!

Yes, I met Jake, ...and do you have a second nephew that would have been with him that night. They spoke highly of you, and said that you're on top of everything steel in your area and beyond.

Yes Ted, Jake's brother Sid was with him, he lives in San Marco currently going to college, he often times getting mistaken for Caleb Melo, ha!

I'm really enjoying the bios on the players, I think it really helps to let people know a little about these great players that many others don't know much about!
