When I worked For Robert, his first year on the road, He would often ask to play this recording on the bus.
He plays the song form better now.
Robert inspired me to play like this: https://soundcloud.com/bluespruce8/tapper

Most underrated, under-acknowledged, under-discussed steel player in the business in my opinion.
Well, it's not exactly "Country" but at the rate we've been going for the past quarter Century, WHAT is really left of "Country"?
He was recorded many times playing Voodoo Chile (Jimmy Hendrix) many times and it's all over the net. To me this version is the best: https://youtu.be/pY1AhZNLVFA.
Joe Wright may be one of a very few others being able to play Rock at this level of authenticity and intensity.

Those who produce Tablature did never use it.
I say it humorously, but I mean it.

When I was his guitar Tech, his first year on the road, in 2002, I had 1930s Regal Dobro that Gene Wooten, who worked at Sho~Bud, had refinished and it was on his tour bus. because Robert plays so physical, he tore it to shreds and was beyond repair.

Chris,
When Robert would switch between back up/ comping volume and lead volume would he use his volume pedal and jump back to the wa, or did he have a stomp box for boost?
Thanks,
Jack
