This has come as a complete shock to me. Bob and I would be at a steel guitar convention. We became good friends and often buy similar items there. I will always remember his wonderful smile and very friendly demeanor. Along with Lisa many times also. The conventions will never be the same again for me.

My sincere condolences to Lisa, family and many friends. He will be missed.

My rig: Infinity and Telonics.

Son, we live in a world with walls, and those walls have to be guarded by men with steel guitars. Who's gonna do it? You? You, Lt. Weinberg?

So sorry to hear of Bob's passing. He was a special person and musician.
I remember the first time hearing and seeing him just blowing on the C6 neck at a Denver Steel show, I couldn't believe the sound.
My heart-felt condolences to Lisa.

I for one will miss my friend Bob Case. We went to a lot of Steel shows together in years passed and always had a good time. He was always pleasant to be around and share time together. May he RIP.

Crossed paths with Bob a number of times over the years. A friendly, congenial guy who played some fine steel indeed.
