seizure of over 3,000 counterfeit Gibson guitars with a manufacturer’s suggested retail price (MSRP), had they been genuine, of $18,742,820 (USD). |
$18,742,820 / 3000 = ~ $6247.60
On the other hand
$18,742,820 / "over 3000" = less than $6247.60 |

One of my band mates bought one a few months ago.He said it was reasonably priced.I don't recall where he got it.For some reason he got suspicious of it and called Gibson and described it to them. They confirmed that it was a fake. |

Sadly, some of the guitars coming out of China recently are superior to many that have come out of Bozeman and Nashville in the past. |

Many of the Chibsons are awesome except for the pickups and some of the wiring. Add a set of pickups off of eBay and you've got a really fine guitar. |
