Morning, have a d8 Remington and having trouble playing on the far neck. Seems the near neck kinda gets in the way. Anyone have any hints or tricks to ease my playing here. Thanks, John

You can try tilting it by extending the far legs.

Don't you mean the back legs?

The legs on the far side from the player. I'm not sure if you'd call them back or front. If you extend those, the instrument tilts up with the strings facing the player, so the near neck doesn't get in the way as much.

Most players tilt the guitar away from them to lessen the angle of the wrists.

You might try standing instead of sitting (assuming your guitar is on legs).

Thanks folks, tilting did help. Standing likely won't do, just playing jam sessions and at 76 don't think my legs and back would take it. lol But good thought. John
