Hey folks,
Been looking for a good soft case for my Dual Pro and found this rifle case from Savior that fits it like a glove and has a separate Velcro panel for legs. I bought the 34” version. The model is called the Specialist Covert, which pretty much describes my style on the instrument. Under $100 shipped from Amazon, really well made and very well padded. Backpack straps.
(Plus room for a pistol).

Excellent find! A gun case has been a great solution for my PSG legs & rack.

Yes. I traded it to Paul for a Gibson Console Grande in 2019. It was originally a T-8, but someone cut off the outside neck. I eventually found an original D-8 body and transferred the parts, and I gave it that red paint job. I had both of the pickups rebuilt too. The original body was rough, so I had it turned into a Telecaster body. Nice to know that it's in good hands.

Hey John - great to have the backstory. It’s getting a lot of use these days with the variety of bands I play with here in Portland. The pickups sound great. Any idea what the original color of the body was? Pete

The present body was stripped when I got it, and the original T-8 body was poorly refinished when I got it. They didn't even sand out the saw marks!

What a great idea for a steel body that's too far gone. Any pics of the tele? Pete, I hope you don't mind the hijack. Looks like a great option for a dilapidated or missing case - which is like 90% of them![/quote]
