Exceptionally rare part for an exceptionally rare lap steel.

Rarest of all are the stamped brass covers. Most 7-stringer New Yorkers seem to use s piece of plated flat stock as a cover/palm rest.

Thought it was wishful thinking to post a WTB for rare Bakelite knobs recently only to strike gold with Jim Dulfer's cache. Thought I'd press my luck.
