Without seeing any pics of Bill's 12-string mechanics underneath or changer end; I'll say it looks to be right at 1976--ish

Ok Bill I was mistaken; as '76 had NO pot metal originally except for finger top. So since you said that; I downloaded the pic where I can see the pedals and I thought they were narrow/slick; but they are indeed narrow/tread and those came out 1978. But if there was Pot metal parts underneath; then it originally came with straight knees and hex cross-shafts; but the upgrade pic showing curved knees; I would have to see the underneath to tell who actually made the upgraded parts. But looks awesome.

Jeffrey

I'm with you on the topic of blondes. I swung at this one but missed recently. The seller and I were $200 and 6 hours apart! He would not ship.

Bill,
You are obviously able to do whatever you want, but I would warn you that you will miss that one if you let it go. Ask me how I know.

Bill’s Bud was built in 1981. I replaced the knee levers with some that I got here on the forum, and the knee lever brackets with parts from ShowPro.

I hear you Jameson. It is a beautiful guitar. We'll see. I just bought a D12, so not sure I need both.
