Putting feelers out. I’m considering adding a NV400 back into the herd for the occasional need that arises, but want to lessen the load. Some feedback on the performance/sonic output of the various neo’s would be appreciated.

Thks

Marty; I have one of the Sica speakers that Ken Fox used to recommend in my
NV400 and I like it ok. But I put a TT15 in my LTD400 and really love what it did for that amp!

Marty,
i have had the eps-15c, telonics and the tt15 and there is something special about the tt15. to my ears it is very warm and vintage sounding. perfect for what i was going for. i also have a modded vibro champ in a musicmaster bass amp cabinet with tt12 and it too is very well voiced.

Thank you for the feedback folks. Maybe I could install the NV400 chassis in a 1x12 Peavey combo cabinet and keep the size down too….hmm. May have found a use for that empty cabinet.

I have a Telonics 15 inch in my 400 and I really like it. I use the amp for pedal steel and for keyboards
The speaker handles the loud keyboard without a hitch

Marty,

for a while I had my Nashville 400 in a Bandit cabinet with a Telonics Neo 12-4…of all the neo speakers I have tried, I like the Telonics 12 the best..worth a try if you have an empty cabinet…it did make the amp a bit top heavy though…

NV400 in a Tommy Huff cabinet with a TT15 speaker is a great combo for me.

I tried them all. To my ear TT15 is the winner.

Marty,

I can vouch for putting the NV400 chassis into a smaller cabinet. I did exactly that a few years back with a cabinet from a Special 130. Nashville fit perfectly and I used an Eminence em12n speaker. Very pleased with the tone, but the weight reduction was not as impressive as I’d hoped for. Still have that amp but now I’ve switched to the Quilter Travis Toy 1x12 combo which has great tone and is super lite.

You might try Eminence 15" Wheelhouse 200. I have two of them in separate cabinets. One behind me and one on the other side of the stage. Spread the sound.
