Maybe I missed something while I was away, what is a "steel guitar workstation?" Like a workbench fitting or something else?

Dave . it's a device to lay your still in upside down work on it. yes .like a work bench.

Gives upside down access to strings, unlike the guitar laying in its case. b0b developed and the Forum marketed these.

I thought maybe that was what you meant. I made one from pine boards and some fabric scraps. It sets on top of the workbench. It helps to have a table saw.

If you can't find what you're after send me a drawing with dimensions and I'll see what I can do. No doubt someone nearer you can do the same.
