Don't overlook these amps for Steel.
This is the DV Mark "Little GH 250" , It weighs 4 lbs and packs a mighty 250 watts into 4 ohms and around 200 into 8. Its clean as all get go and has great MID control, NONE to ALOT. On bd reverb and it is dual channel with an excellent OD channel should you desire it. I've talked about this amp before.
I was using a 50 Watt DV Mark for a small house gig , it's basically the same amp but obviously with less extended gain. That DV 50 watter was perhaps the loudest and cleanest 50 watt amp I ever owned but decided that the 250 would cover more ground, and it does.
This is the only Steel amp I own and use. Should I decide to go gig again on Steel this upcoming Spring/Summer season, this is the amp I will use, not just for Steel but for double duty as well. I'm pretty picky about amps I use for the Telecaster and I will say that I have no issue using this one, plenty of tone control and very easy to dial in a minimal drive.
We talk a lot about amps for Steel, we should not overlook this 4 lb /250 watt amp as an option. ( or the DV Micro 50 for smaller rooms and venues
and no, I don't work for the DV company ! Actually, I don't work at all

They also have a tube version that looks good! I like the weight and am looking forward to playing through it.

Nice, the DV GH Little 250 Tube amp has a tube front end and the same 250 watt Solid State power section.

I have both the Mark 50 watt head and combo with an 8 inch speaker and Little 250.head. Very impressive amplifiers for a reasonable cost.

I've been using this little amp for about 6 months and I love it. Ken unless something is wrong with mine, I'm using a little Mackie mixer to get enough lever for a direct signal and that's a problem for me. Good little amp.

The Little GH 250, or at least the one I have , has a switchable PRE Out, 0 and 6 db, but not an XLR out. It does have effects send and rtn. While they can be considered similar they are not exactly the same. I don't see why the pre out can't serve the same purpose , 0 or 6 db setting, whichever gives the best results. The DV Mark Micro 50 comes in two styles, one has a Pre out and the other has an XLR out. Both also have phones out which could be run to a bd if desired. The 250 does not have a phones out.
I've never run either of them thru a PA but I don't see why they could not go direct.
