Highly modded then partly recovered 1984 G&L Skyhawk player. $750 shipped USA

Stereo wiring removed this guitar now has 2 working Carvin pickups each w on/off switch and separate volume/tone, the original middle disabled but works . G015028.

Guitar is ash with maple neck ebony fretboard, and matching cream headstock. It plays like a dream and sounds great, tho different than a Skyhawk. Better, actually, in some ways. The original G&L middle pickup is not connected. The replaced pickups are 11-pole single coil Carvins I don’t know the model number BUT from the web site it looks like they only made one model single coil like it: AP11. I only use one of the output jacks which defaults to mono I suppose. I would say the work was done by a professional. Maybe the cutouts on the original pickguard could have been prettier. The tuners are also Carvins. I don’t have any of the original G&L parts, there is no tremolo arm, and a raggedy but functional fender style case.

This guitar was obviously played, but not hard, and not put away wet. It has a great setup, stays in tune, and was well taken care of. There is visible fretwear and some dings and scratches.
