This speaker was in a Bell and Howell cabinet that's become my beater travel cabinet. It tested ok using a cheap little speaker test box but apparently mice dined on a portion of the cone.
Is the speaker worth fixing?
Likely too much cone gone to repair?
Any leads on where to locate a cone?
I didn't listen to it in the cab before replacing it with a Weber California. Been powering with a Quilter Toneblock 45 and running lap steel into it. |

Looks like it might be an inch-and-a-half voice coil, so a new cone should be easily available. How heavy is the speaker? (A heavier magnet structure means a better speaker, generally.) You could have it re-coned, and get a voice coil that would handle more power. Or, you could coat the chewed edges with rubber cement and just use it as is.  |

That's a great looking speaker cabinet!
Is that a port on the lower right? Looking at photos online, I see several models have that same round opening.

The port was for a retractctable speaker cord. |

When I was a teenager in the 60s we used Goodmans because that's about all there was that we could afford. I don't think there was anything magical about them.
