I know there are one or two Forum members who played Steel in the Navy Band.Anyone recall who they are ?

The last U.S. Navy Country Current steeler I recal is Henry Johns. There is a forum member by that name. He has no postings. I don't know whether they are the same person.

Pat Gulley (mentioned in Gary's post) was with the Navy's Current Country Band when they came into Medora, ND for a concert on our stage.

Excellent steel player, one of the best banjo players I ever heard, and the whole ensemble was top-notch.
