I have a Harley Benton acoustic guitar which I love (look them up…excellent import guitar line) but it did not come with a pickup.
No problem, I installed a fabulous piezo pickup K&K Pure Mini Acoustic Guitar Pickup https://a.co/d/cXc119g and love the sound.
I’d like to have a volume pot mounted right on the guitar, as I use it for open mics and very often need to make a volume adjustment. I don’t want to use a foot pedal or any other type of preamp on the floor as it impedes the easy on/easy off setup for open mics.
I’m aware the sound will suffer a bit from a passive pot but willing to deal with that for the convenience of onboard tweaking.
Question: what size pot should I use and how should I wire it?
