Has anyone attempted to replace their stock pickup on a Stage One model? I have seen a few threads that entertained the idea of doing this mod despite the unique mounting hole positions, but no one mentioned whether or not they have had success. I would like to hear from those who have, if any.

I have a single coil model to fit the Stage One, it is the same outline as the stock pickup, but it requires drilling 4 new holes and then mounting the pickup with foam ala the p bass.

This pickup uses shorter magnets so it will fit in the available height and still have room for height adjustment and wire routing.

I need to get it up on my website, but it is available.

The original Stage One single coil was a bar magnet type. It was a really great sound, but noisy. These were the ones that only had a ZumSteel decal on the front.
