Nice job David. You put your own spin on it making it a bluesy feel. |

Hi Larry Yes I built it because I fancied trying out a Uni. I used Emmons all pull changer fingers I brought from Emmons and cut the neck and machine head stock with a Makita jig saw, pillar drill and hand files. I worked out the measurements from looking at pics on the web. It plays so well that I sold my Emmons Push Pull that I had for 40 years. |

Hi Dale thankyou I think getting Reaper was a real inspiration to push the boundaries rather than just playing my old comfortable favourite's. It also makes you listen to yourself which helps you improve hopefully! Dave |

David, thanks for the reply. Just shows what a man can accomplish with hand tools and determination. That's an incredible build and great story. |

Hi Larry Thank you. Also took a lot of time. I made my volume pedal as well. The pedal is an Emmons pedal with a dual gang pot that turns two Opto Isolators on and off so no moving parts in the Audio chain. I have built a stereo tube amp and I'm half way through the Stereo Pre amp. Have moved and have a whole house to renovate so no play time until its done. Dave |
