As stated in other recent listings, It's time that I let some of my equipment go. This is due to an auto immune illness which continues to worsen. I now only play an occasional jam session so I am letting go of some of my amp and effect unit equipment.

For sale is a limited run "custom built" Brad Sarno /TC Furlong amp. They teamed up in the early days and produced a few "joint effort" amps. Brad had just developed his "Tonic" TUBE preamp and TC produced a few special powered cabinets to house them. The 15" model was sold without a speaker installed so it was up to the purchaser as to what they chose to run. I personally ran a JBL K 130 in mine until weight became an issue. The amp now comes in at under 40 pounds with a Sica speaker installed.

The preamp has just been back to Sarno Music and is in new condition. The power module is a light weight, Jay Ganz "Straight Ahead" power amp which I purchased new for this application. The amp also comes with a D 2 F padded cover which is in great condition.

As viewed, the amp is well built and it is top shelf cosmetic wise. The Tonic tube preamp is made to slide out the back if someone choses to use it for a stand alone unit. The size of this amp is very close to that of a Fender Tonemaster twin. It's just slightly taller and deeper.

New price: Asking $795 plus packing and shipping to the continental US.

I may also be willing to sell the components individually, if there is no interest in the cabinet.

Great combo. I have a Tonic in a rack and a Furlong 12" Split. Best sound I have had.

I agree that you can get a really great sound out of the
Sarno Tonic Tube preamps. There were only around 50 of these preamps produced.

I have not been actively marketing this amp at this time as I own 2 Tonic preamps and I sent them both back in to Sarno Music Solutions to be checked over and upgraded as needed. I planned on moving the post to the top after I receive them back.

Enjoy your Tonic and Furlong split. Its great equipment.

Thanks Tony, for you interest in the power module. I am going to hold off as to parting out and selling any of the components until I see if there is someone who wants the whole amp.

I have one interested party now that wants to buy the whole amp. I just need to get an accurate weight before he makes a decision on it..

I will put you first in line for the power module if I part the amp out.
