Exploring the option of using a Bandmaster or Showmaster Amp Head.
If you have one and not using please let me know. Cosmetics not important but would appreciate a working one or one that can be easily repaired. Picture also appreciated if possible and price.
Thanks!

Not for sale but my favorite amp for steel is my bandmaster in a 1x12 combo with the wheelhouse speaker. You can plug into one input of the vibrato channel then go out the other input into your reverb pedal then into the normal channel. Works sort of like an effects loop and gives you EQ on your reverb return.
The showman gives you more power and a mid control, John Widgren has one and it’s amazing. |

I have a 1969 Dual Showman Reverb and an earlier 60's Blackface Dual Showman.
One of them wants a new home. |

Hi David. Long time no see. I also have a '69 Dual Showman Reverb but don't think I would ever sell it. Absolute best sound for me with pedal steel.
I also have '69 Bandmaster Reverb head, converted to blackface Super Reverb with larger OT than original bandmaster OT. That I could sell, but for pedal steel amp, I'd go for David's DSR if I were you. _________________ Sierra U12 4+5 / 1933 Dobro / homemade Tele B-bender |
