I'm reposting this wtb as I had the earlier one closed.

The cable I found won't work, so I'm still looking.

I'm in need of a Boss type AC to AC adapter barrel plug. It measures 6.5mm diameter x 11mm in length. It's the short fat one. These plugs were used on the Pro audio BRA,BRB & BRC series AC output p/s and are a different size from the Boss PSA and all other DC adapter plugs. I've only seen them on the Boss AC output p/s.

Probably any old Boss unit with an AC output adapter might work. DC unit's plugs will not.

If you have saved an old fried AC Boss adpater, I'd like to have the cable and plug. They also used to offer a daisy chain cable the same size. That would be fine as well.

Don't need the power supply, just the cable and barrel plug.

Haven't had any luck online.

This is the original Boss unit. They were 1.5A 12v AC output adapters used on rack mount units and had a large stubby tip that measures 1/4 in. in diameter.
Thx.

I'm one of those people who has kept every adaptor from every answering machine and accessory going back to the 70's. A big box with a couple dozen of them. I thought for sure 'this'll be easy', I'd reach in there and pull out your stubby plug.
Nope. Shaking my head.

I'm a pack rat too Jon. Thanks a lot for taking the time to look through your collection.

I've got just about every other type exept these unusual plugs. The Boss Pro units with AC output are the only ones I know of that use them. Someone said Yamaha keyboard p/s had that type plug tip, but I don't have one to examine.

Thanks for your help everybody. You can stop looking. I found an assortment of jack adapters that has a size 6.3 x3.0 tip for about $5 on the big A.

These snap on a standard 5.5x2.1 male plug and come in assortments with different types and sizes of tips to convert to various laptop connections. If anybody is looking for something like this, lemme know and I can point you to a source.
