Buddy Bar

I have been using the Buddy Bar by Tom Bradshaw for over a year now. I use it with my hollow neck lap acoustic steel guitars. It is a lighter bar than my metal tone bars and easy to move around the fretboard. I like the sound as it is quieter than a metal bar and glides across the strings. It may not be bright enough for some players, but is the sound that I want. I play solo background music usually playing for 3 hours with a short break while people are eating or wine tasting. A lighter bar helps these old hands. I also play through a bass amp as I play a bass line and percussion using a multi effects pedal. I quit using backing tracks. If you want a lighter bar with a softer sound, get a Buddy Bar from Tom. I just ordered a second one to keep a backup.

Hi Dave:
I sent you an email regarding the Buddy Bar.
You pretty well answered everything I asked in the email.
I should have read your note again first.
Anyway, I think my hands would really like to try one, Tom's price is certainly reasonable.
So far my go to bars have been Michael Hillmans powder coated bars and Basil Henriques bars. I can hang on to them.
The Buddy Bar at 3.3 ounces is interesting.
