NEWS FLASH
I'll be holding a D13th Q&A and demonstration during the TSGA Jamboree in Dallas this year. It will be at 6:00 PM on Saturday in the MSA room. I'll talk about the tuning, answer any questions and be happy to talk about the way it corresponds to E9th and C6th. This is all free and open to anyone. I hope you'll join me.

Some of the things I'll discuss at the D13th Summit at TSGA will be, how my setup correlates with standard E9th and C6th setups. How it has the same changes as many of our heros including Buddy Emmons, Weldon Myrick, Hal Rugg, Curly Chalker, Jimmy Day, Maurice Anderson, Paul Franklin and more. How you can taylor the setup to your particular needs. You can also see how the all new MSA Tour Pro 12/6 is the most versatile guitar on the market.
It happens on Saturday 03/11/23 at 6:00 pm in the MSA Room. Come, bring your D13th guitar, your tape or video camera. It's free this year.

It goes without saying that I wish I could be there.

I'm still pondering the 2nd string tuning on my forthcoming D13 guitar. I'm also having to 'imagine' what will be under my fingers when I have it in front of me. My 'new' change on my E9 (raising B to D; A to C on D13) may - or may not - be necessary with that extra string.

I'd like nothing more than to ask questions while you demonstrate what can be done.

It's too far to travel with my hemodialysis schedule, unfortunately. I will be there in spirit!

Thanks for making your knowledge available to us all.
