I need a rodding chard for a short keyhead Emmons. Serial # 343L
8 pedals, 4 knee levers.
E’s on the left.
Any help appreciated by this old picker, short on talent but full of ideas.

Sorry, Bud - I have rodding charts, but they're for 14-hole bell-cranks. Yours are 4-hole, I think. I can tell you the changer-locations if it's any help.

And you're certainly not short on talent!

Good luck with the Emmons!

Ron, thank you very much.
I could figure it out but too old, too tired.
Regards….Willis.

It is not a sin to get old…
It’s just unhandy as hell…..lol

I thought my copy was better than this but if you zoom in you can read them. Email me if you have any questions. Good luck. Ron

Well it required 45 minutes of my precious time to make the two knee lever changes I wanted. Not too shabby for an eighty nine year old feller.
Using Ron’s rodding chart, I only had to tweak the strings as they were almost perfectly in tune.
Yes, I am still learning…thanks to this forum and you guys and gals.
Old Bud…

Same age as Willie Nelson. Way to go.
BTW, did you know Willie didn't right, Blue Eyes Cryin'. It was written by Fred Rose. RP

Yes I was aware Willie didn’t write that.
I first heard that song back in the forties.
I believe it was The Delmore Brothers or one of those brothers back in the day.
Did you know Leon McCauliff ( sp ) didn’t write the steel guitar rag ? He stole it from an old Blues player.
I play dobro in a blue grass band and we are booked up pretty tight for the summer.
Then I do a few on the pedal steel too.
I just gave away my old fiddles. I hadn’t played them in years.
Time to reduce inventory.
Two Steinberger five strings basses going next
Lots of amps, various effect pedals, tons of made up cable. Many bars ,picks .
Too many six string guitar, mostly flat tops
Have a great week. I
