Anyone try the newer version of the BL705 pickup in a Emmons LeGrande II? Were you satisfied with it and does it have the same type of tone as the original? I had a set an old Shobud Pro III, really gave the guitar a rich full sound, kinda like a Gibson humbucker compared to a Fender (or Gibson) single coil. Wished I'd never sold that guitar.

I have a new one in my Mullen Royal Precision. It is very full and clear. I like it a lot, especially live. I'm a bit of an audiophile, I have a degree in Double bass orchestral performance and work at a violin shop.
