This is a Classic MSA Steel Guitar. I had a Black one like it years ago and this has the same incredible tone. It's just a great Steel Guitar. It also has those best Grover Tuning Keys.

Bud Carter was the Designer and did the final Master check out on this Steel Guitar. He really knew his stuff on Steel Guitars. This is a Special Steel Guitar.

I put new Buddy Emmons SIT strings on both necks and this Steel Guitar just screams with tone. If anyone is looking for a Classic Double 10 Steel Guitar, you won't get a better deal.

Something else this guitar was pre machined to add extra pedals. Two more floor pedals could be added and knee levers too. Bob White who played with Hank Thompson and his Brazos Valley Boys Band played a Steel Guitar like this one.

Yes, those are solid built guitars. I had a brown mica one just like it. I bought it new in 1973. I'm guessing this one is around that era. Looks in good condition for it's age. Probably not many miles on it. MSA switched to natural finished maple somewhere around mid 1975. That's a great price for a good deal.

I have that album too. I like his version of Steel Guitar Wipe Out. Get both songs out of the way in about 3 minutes. Laughing
