Part number decoder for Allen Bradley type EJ pots:




J means hot molded and E means extra life.

Taper looks right. Last character is A for CW modified log taper.

But shaft length isn't clear in your part number. Make sure it's not too short.

This info is on p127 of c.1980 AB component catalog I just downloaded from steampoweredradio.com. I have this catalog somewhere but it was easier to find online than in my basement!

Bruce is correct. That number indicates a stubby, screwdriver-slot unit. It will not work in a volume pedal, and the shaft is too short to add an extender.
