Ordered a Thomas case at the end of August, he told me it would be done in a month. I ended up cancelling the order in early November after he kept dodging my phone calls and texts. Now it's December and I'm still waiting for a refund. He initiated the refund on paypal, but never returned the funds. Paypal has tried to contact him multiple times to clear this up. Only posting this as a caveat to other members.

Sorry to hear that Andy. As one who recommended the company to other players a few times, I'm dismayed.

I first dealt with the founder Wade Thomas through an Emmons guitar co. referral back in the 80s . I know that he either passed on or had retired several years ago and his son was continuing the business.

Thanks to you and Graham for updating the information. I hope you eventually get your money back.

I know that several builders have stated problems with getting delivery on and materials acquisition for case building. Hopefully, this strain on the supply chain has eased a bit lately.

I love Thomas cases, especially the one that looks like tooled leather. Very Happy

That's very unfortunate.
My (Ross Shafer) Sierra came in a lovely Thomas case 3 years ago. Prior to that, I got split cases for my MSA.
Great product, great service, so I'm left to wonder what went wrong.

Finally received my refund from Mr.Thomas. Not sure what was the cause of the communication breakdown, but I am happy to say 'case closed'.

I had similar experience , ordered the case, never got it , they canceled the order , few emails , similar PayPal situation , and finally got my refund … too bad , I ordered several cases before , and never had a problem … very nice cases too … but yes, as far as I know , they’re closed down , no more Thomas cases …
