My new MSA Tour Pro is getting close to being finished. I'm putting out feelers for my MSA Legend SD12. This guitar was built originally as a D10/12. Then converted at the factory in 2017 to a D12 with L-Frets and Aura Lites.
It is currently a SD12 with 6x6. I still have all the parts to put it back to a D12 9x9. I don't have the time or place to put it to D12 but will include parts if desired at additional cost.
Full disclosure, the guitar has several extra holes on the bottom side from all my experiments in tunings and setups. It is also 1" under standard height. Comes with Red Dirt Flight Case.
The guitar new as a D12 9x9 would be near the 10k price point. The finish was refreshed by Mark Giles when the guitar was rebuilt in 2017.
Asking $5,000 as is or $6,000 with the extra parts. cash + shipping or will consider trades. Feel free to make a reasonable offer.

WoW folks this steel was gorgeous when I owned it as a D10/12. Some of you might have seen it at some of the steel shows I went to. And Johnny great person to deal with. I was going to get it last time with the extra parts, but Johnny came to his senses and said he could not let it go. But his new one is coming and he does not need this any more. look around youtube, facebook see and hear him play it. And as he put on his ad here been upgraded with fret board lights and aura lights plus, also finish was refreshed by Mark Giles when the guitar was rebuilt in 2017. |
