I have a Gold Tone PBKG Square Neck Acoustic Guitar. Love having a guitar an acoustic that's not a resonator.

But I'd like to add a pick up. Anyone have any advice? My local guitar shop is very good at this, but may not doesn't have experience with guitars that are only used with a tone bar.

Here is Gold Tone's video of the Gold Tone PBKG.

Cool guitar. Been looking for one for a while. Hard to find and usually priced way too high if I do.

I would imagine any piezo or condenser or under bridge pickup same as any acoustic guitar would work just fine.

FWIW, I have a GHS soundhole pickup over in the classifieds if you'd be interested in anything like that.

I’ve been very happy with the Seymour Duncan SA-6 MagMic Pickup System. I have it in a weissie and it can be adjusted between the magnetic pickup and the mic side of the pickup, to give you nice options on your sound.
