I have been hoping to see more stuff like this! Very nice job!! Minimal in a good way. Is that a cheap bass pickup on your 8 string? I was looking at those. I just started winding my own pickups, building bobbins etc. Pretty steep learning curve, but finally got one almost done. Thanks for sharing these.

I can't get much detail from the 8 string fretboard. How did you make it? Looks very nice.

The 8 string is made from Pennsylvania hard rock maple. The brown wood is Missouri black walnut. I made all of the parts except the pickup. It is a custom pickup wound specifically for my guitar by Bill (Becky) Lawrence…

The 12 string string is Pennsylvania hard rock maple. The pickup is another Lawrence custom made pickup… the only parts I didn’t make are the legs, tuning machines and the pickup…
