I have been hoping to see more stuff like this! Very nice job!! Minimal in a good way. Is that a cheap bass pickup on your 8 string? I was looking at those. I just started winding my own pickups, building bobbins etc. Pretty steep learning curve, but finally got one almost done. Thanks for sharing these. |

The 8 string is made from Pennsylvania hard rock maple. The brown wood is Missouri black walnut. I made all of the parts except the pickup. It is a custom pickup wound specifically for my guitar by Bill (Becky) Lawrence…
The 12 string string is Pennsylvania hard rock maple.
