I bought this guitar new in 1996. It was a two pickup USA Tele with a Fender "factory" B Bender.
I recently had it refinished by Marty Bell in the San Diego area....also added the pickups about that time, too. I have been playing a B Bender Tele since 1988.

Wow, green metal flake! I guess this is the answer for someone who wants a Brent Mason type of Tele without the drab grey primer finish. Quite stunning.

That's the Parsons/Green system, correct? I had a couple in sunburst and one in black from that general period. I was running a guitar shop at the time - stuff was coming in and going out.

Correct. It was not a Nashville Tele. Just a standard USA Tele with the Parsons Green system.

Thanks.

Here's my '99 Nashville, with the Parsons-Green. Only 2 mods:
1) the MIM Nashville pickguard- the middle pickup is just slightly closer to the bridge- gets more quack in the #2 and #4 positions.
2) Autographs from Jimmy Gilmer & The Fireballs-George Tomsco was one of my early guitar heroes!

I have a great deal of fun working out bender licks every so often, but I have to say after an hour or two I have a renewed appreciation for pedal steel! Winking
