I recently came into possession of the first issue of "The Pedal Steel Guitarist" magazine, published by Bruce Cogburn beginning in 1977. Does anyone have or know if this magazine had more than that one issue? I'd like to obtain (borrow) all the issues, scan them and add them as free downloads to the several items currently available for downloading from my website. Any leads of who might have them would also be appreciated. ...Tom (tommybradshaw@gmail.com)

I have a box of Steel Guitar publications given to me by a friend that has over 50 years playing steel guitar. I will have to hunt up the box and see what I have.

I went through the box of books I got hold of. There is 2 Steel Guitar World Magazine, Several The Pedal Rod magazines and Pedal Steel Newsletter.

The January/February 1999 copy, Has Jimmy Days Passing and Memoriam is on the front page.

Found an article of the Myers Cat Can Steel.

One has the original story. The MSA The aluminum addition to add a lower by using a raise hole and small part in the changer.

Lot of history in them.
